What You Will Be Doing
The primary goal of this role is to support our enterprise and source of talent sales strategies, focusing
specifically on measurable growth and lead generation for MBO. The Head of Marketing is responsible for providing oversight, strategic vision, and execution for the MBO Partners brand, messaging, events, marketing, public relations, digital, and communications ecosystems. Additionally, the role  is also responsible for developing and maintaining the corporate brand, position to clients and prospects, as well as the market at large, while overseeing all associated channels for that expression (websites, content, and campaign ecosystems). This role has direct responsibility for revenue generation in partnership with the sales and growth leadership teams. The Head of Marketing role both leads and owns several operational initiatives as a player-coach, working cross-functionally across the organization to promote the MBO and grow brand presence through new client acquisition, boosting MBO’s visibility and prominence (as well as that of its core executives) as a global leader in the future of work. A key area of focus for the Head of Marketing is to drive more qualified leads from the Marketing efforts put forth in partnership with Sales and Growth.

In this role you will:  
• Develop and execute an annual marketing strategy and budget to meet or exceed corporate OKRs and advance the MBO vision.
• Set and maintain brand standards, ensuring compliance and consistency across all public and internal channels; and across MBO messaging, content and design.
• Develop targeted marketing to support MBO’s six key verticals (Professional Services, Technology, Financial
Services, Healthcare, Federal, Consumer Goods & Services) and the different personas within these verticals
(Procurement, HR, Talent Acquisition, etc.).
• Define and track KPIs to measure the effectiveness of campaigns, marketing channels, and overall ROI. Utilize
data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve performance.
• Build strategies to drive commercial value as well as position the company as a thought leader in the global talent industry, and able to work with a global lens, partnering with regional leads.
• Develop a deep understanding of MBO's competitive landscape, including market presence, positioning, competitor intel, market updates and key differentiators, to inform strategic decision-making and drive brand distinction. This includes prevailing trends and pivots that lead to the need to adjust our approach
• Lead the development of the organization’s content strategy and thought leadership initiatives, including premier research-driven strategies, strategic speaking and convention events, and public relations, writing and overseeing high-quality blog posts, thought leadership articles, and other materials that showcase the company's expertise and drive brand awareness. This includes being one of the public figures for the company at key speaking engagements.
• Develop and oversee crisis communication plans to manage brand reputation during unforeseen challenges.
• Identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs, utilizing these insights to inform strategic marketing decisions.
• Partner with Sales, Growth, and Product teams to align strategies and ensure marketing supports business objectives.
• Foster open communication to ensure proactive alignment on key strategies across departments.
• Work with customer experience team, ensure marketing aligns with objectives and delivers consistent messaging.
• Build partnerships with key C-suite executives.
• Engage with the board of directors (if applicable) to align brand vision and marketing impact.
• Work collaboratively with senior leaders, key external partners and associations to meet Marketing annual targets for revenue contribution.
• Direct and oversee the implementation of marketing campaigns to achieve business goals, including lead generation, customer acquisition, and account and revenue growth.
• Serve as the source of the latest marketing tools and innovation and partner with our Product and Technology teams regarding the selection, implementation, and optimization of marketing technology tools (e.g., CRM, analytics tools) to drive efficiencies and results.
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with employees, strategic industry partners, third-party experts, and key stakeholders to enhance MBO’s market presence.
• Stay informed about emerging trends, tools, and technologies in marketing and apply innovative approaches to stay ahead of the competition.
• Integrate sustainability and social impact initiatives into marketing strategies, showcasing the company's
commitment to ethical practices and corporate responsibility.
• Develop and implement region-specific marketing strategies that align with global brand positioning while
respecting local market dynamics. 
• Build, coach, and manage a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence.
•Explore and leverage emerging technologies like AI, machine learning, and marketing automation trends to
enhance marketing strategies.


What You Need to Stand Out
• 10+ years of Marketing experience working in the contingent work industry as a marketing leader managing staff
• Experience holding Sales and Growth target responsibilities and measured contributions
• Specific experience and proven track record in marketing lead generation in the most cost effective means possible
• Experience managing a P&L, budget, and expense line
• Degree in  Marketing, Communications, or equivalent 
• Outstanding communication, presentation, writing and leadership skills
• Experience leading staff both directly and indirectly, domestic and international
• In-depth knowledge of the future of work ecosystem and talent solutions
• Sense of ownership and entrepreneurial spirit
• Critical thinking/problem solving skills
• Exceptional time management skills
• Cross-functional relationship builder
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Certification or credentials using Canva, HubSpot, Google Analytics, WordPress and other key marketing tools
• Proficiency with modern marketing tools, platforms and approaches (SEO, SEM, programmatic advertising)
• Experience with International marketing and global campaigns
• Ability to lead a remote team environment
• Demonstrated success in mentorship, succession planning and fostering innovation within the team.
